Is the rent negotiable?
The rent shown is the owner's asking rent. The final rent is agreed between you and the owner, and we will show you recent rents in the same development.
How much is the security deposit?
Usually one month's rent per year of lease: one month for a one-year lease, two months for two years. It is returned at the end, less any repair costs. The tenancy agreement sets the final terms.
What is the shortest lease?
Condos are usually let on one- or two-year leases; some owners accept shorter terms, depending on the home.
Can foreigners rent?
Yes. We check your passport and a valid pass (such as an Employment Pass or Student's Pass) when you sign.
Can I end the lease early if my job moves me?
Two-year leases often have a diplomatic clause: after a set period, you can give notice and leave early if your job moves you out of Singapore. Whether it applies and how is set in the lease.
Are pets allowed?
It depends on the owner and the development's rules. Tell us before the viewing and we will ask first.
Is there a charge for viewings?
No. In-person and video-call viewings are both free.
